Onboarding: Add Your First Property
Three Onboarding Paths
After signing up, AnchorLease offers three ways to get started based on your situation:
- Upload an existing lease — If you already have a signed lease PDF, the system will extract key data like property address, tenant info, and rent amount automatically
- Create a new lease— If you're signing a new tenant, a step-by-step wizard guides you through building a standard lease
- Add a property first— If you don't have tenants yet, start by entering your property details and add tenants later
Organization Setup
During onboarding you can set up your "Organization" info — your legal name as landlord and contact address. This data auto-fills into any LTB notice forms you generate later, keeping your notices compliant.
After Onboarding
Once done, you'll land on the dashboard home screen. All properties and tenants you added will appear in their respective pages. Use the bottom navigation bar to switch between features at any time.
Tip: Not sure which path to pick? If you already have tenants renting, "Upload existing lease" is the fastest. If you just purchased an investment property, start with "Add a property first."
