Getting Better AI Answers
Be Specific About Your Situation
The more specific the question, the more useful the answer. Instead of asking "Can I raise rent?" ask "My tenant moved in 2020, last increase was January 2025, current rent is $2,000 — how much can I raise and when does it take effect?"
Include Key Details
The quality of AI answers depends on the context you provide. Try to include:
- Tenant's move-in date and lease type
- Current rent amount
- What specifically happened (arrears amount, type of damage, etc.)
- Steps you've already taken
Use Property Context
With "Property Context" mode enabled, the AI can read your property, tenant, and payment data directly. This saves you from re-typing details and lets the AI give more precise answers (like exact arrears amounts and compliant dates).
Ask Follow-Ups
Don't stop at the first answer. If the AI mentions a concept or process you're unfamiliar with, ask about it. For example: "You mentioned the L1 application — can you explain what documents I need to prepare?"
Tip: Conversation context is preserved within the same session. You can break a complex question into steps and ask progressively — the AI remembers previous messages.
