Using the AI Compliance Assistant

How to Access

Tap the "AI" tab in the bottom nav bar, or navigate directly to /ai. You'll see a chat interface where you can ask any Ontario landlord-tenant legal question in natural language.

Asking Questions

Type your question in the input box and hit send. The AI responds based on Ontario's Residential Tenancies Act (RTA), LTB case law, and the latest legislative changes. Each answer cites its sources.

Property Context Mode

You can enable "Property Context" mode and select a specific property and tenant. The AI will then reference your actual data (rent amount, lease terms, payment records) to give more specific advice.

Usage Limits

• Free plan: 10 questions per month
• Pro accounts include 50 questions per month
• Usage resets automatically on the 1st of each month

What "Case-Backed" Means

"Case-backed" means the AI's answers draw not only from statute law but also from actual LTB adjudication decisions. This makes answers more aligned with real-world Ontario enforcement practices than a generic AI chatbot.
