Exporting Tax Reports
Generating Reports
From the Tools page, select "Tax Reports," choose a tax year (e.g., 2025), and the system will aggregate all receipts and expense data for that year into a comprehensive report organized by T776 line number.
What the Report Includes
- Expense totals by T776 line number (e.g., Line 8960 repairs total: $3,250)
- Itemized list of each expense (date, amount, merchant, notes)
- Gross rental income summary (Line 8141)
- Net rental income/loss calculation
- If Smart Tax was used, an optimization suggestions summary
Export Formats
Reports can be exported as PDF (easy to send to your accountant) or CSV (easy to import into tax software or Excel). You can also download receipt images as a bundled backup.
Tip: Export the report before tax season and send it to your accountant — it significantly reduces their workload and your accounting fees. Data organized by T776 line number is exactly the format accountants prefer.
